National Spaghetti Day




National Spaghetti Day on January 4th offers an opportunity to discover the different kind of pastas, and to answer to the famous question ; “Are pastas bad for me ?" Usually made from semolina flour, pasta has been a worldwide favorite for ages and loved by millions. Today we can find pastas made from buckwheat, whole wheat, quinoa, chickpeas, lentils, beans, corn, rice... which offer infinite cooking posibilities and options for every one.



The word spaghetti is plural for the Italian word spaghetto, which is a diminutive of spago, meaning “thin string” or “twine.”
